Trump visiting Las Vegas to tout tax policies

“President Donald Trump is scheduled to arrive in Las Vegas on Thursday to tout his tax policies, a day after the deadline for federal returns. The White House says Trump will take part in a roundtable and deliver remarks from a Downtown Las Vegas hotel in the afternoon. The president will stay in Las Vegas overnight and leave for Phoenix on Friday. Trump has enthusiastically praised the changes from last year’s reconciliation package, also called the One Big Beautiful Bill, which paused taxes on tips, overtime and Social Security through 2028.
