Two Cranes Lift Massive Roof Truss Connector at A’s Las Vegas Ballpark | Ep. 106
“Two cranes. One massive piece of steel. And barely any room to work. 🏗️⚾ I was out at the A’s Las Vegas ballpark today as two cranes worked in tandem to lift a massive steel connector between the roof trusses. Watch both ends of that piece as it rises. That’s where you can really see the precision it takes to keep two cranes moving together. Then look down. While that steel was in the air, crews on the ground were assembling more connectors, building another truss, and moving materials through the same narrow strip between the ballpark and OYO’s property line. On the Bally’s side, crews had a broad staging area to lay out the roof steel. Over here, every bit of space has a job. At first glance it looks like a jumble of cranes, steel, and equipment. Watch it for a minute and you start to see how every crew keeps the next move possible. I’ve been following this build one lift at a time, and the pace right now is incredible. What impressed you more, the two-crane lift or how much work they’re fitting into that little space? Drop it in the comments and subscribe for the next ballpark update. #LasVegasBallpark #Athletics #LasVegas #Construction”
