“On the afternoon of June 4th 2026, the largest recorded earthquake within a 20 mile radius of the historic city center of Las Vegas Struck, registering in as a magnitude 3.8. While small in magnitude, it was felt by millions, and strangely enough originated from a fault line in the scenic Red Rock Canyon. Today’s video will discuss this earthquake, regional fault lines, and the overall level of seismic hazard Las Vegas experiences. Do note that the “largest historic earthquake near Las Vegas” specifically refers to ONLY within a 20.0 mile or 32.2 mile radius of its historic city center.
