Teen accused of stabbing horses at Las Vegas event to remain in custody

“The teenager accused of stabbing three horses at a Las Vegas barrel racing event has been ordered to remain in custody. The teen appeared in Clark County Family Court on Thursday, where a judge said authorities had evidence suggesting the alleged crime was premeditated. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said they found three horses suffering from stab wounds while being kept at the South Point Equestrian Center over the weekend. Their injuries were not life-threatening, but police said the horses wouldn’t be able to compete.
