“Now that my parents are officially checked in and living their best life, it’s our turn to make the short drive down the Las Vegas Strip to the one and only Caesars Palace. Easy enough, right? Absolutely not. Apparently, getting from the parking garage to hotel check-in is part of the Caesars Palace experience. After wandering through hallways, casinos, escalators, and what felt like three different zip codes, we finally found the lobby… only to discover that apparently everyone in Las Vegas decided to check in at the exact same time. 😂 Welcome to Caesars Palace—where the first jackpot is successfully finding the front desk. After finally getting checked in, Reyna wasn’t feeling well, so she stayed back at the hotel to rest while I headed downtown with my parents to Fremont Street. Our next mission: grab some Hawaiian food and then test our luck at The Cal — California Hotel & Casino, a longtime favorite for Hawaii visitors.
