“Monday afternoon arrival of Mystic 11 Heavy, a U.S. Air Force McDonnell Douglas C-17A Globemaster III! This was the third C-17 to arrive at Las Vegas today ahead of Air Force One’s expected arrival Tuesday night. Unbelievably awesome to catch three C-17s at LAS today! Seems like they used to only send two of them…
“Monday afternoon departure of Reach 3287 Heavy, a U.S. Air Force Boeing C-17A Globemaster III! This was the first C-17 to arrive today, coming from Joint Base Andrews ahead of Air Force One’s expected arrival Tuesday night. “Windy Thursday evening arrival of Omni 2156 Heavy, a rare Omni Air International Boeing 767-200ER! I last caught this aircraft back in November 2024, so it was awesome to see it return to LAS. Only four airline-operated passenger 767-200s are still active worldwide today, and this is one of them! Omni Air International flight OY2156…
“Monday morning arrival of United 3773 Heavy, a Boeing 777-200ER in Evo Blue livery! This was the positioning flight for a special NFL charter to pick up the Las Vegas Raiders for their trip to Houston, with a joint practice Tuesday ahead of Thursday’s preseason game against the Texans. It’s been so long I can’t…
“Sweltering hot 112°F Wednesday afternoon departure of Air Force One, the new VC-25B Bridge aircraft based on the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental! After patiently waiting through the hottest part of the afternoon, Air Force One finally taxied out just before 4:25 p.m. The heat shimmer and constant wind made this a challenging shot, but it was…
“Brutal 111°F heat with winds gusting to 25 knots for the Sunday evening arrival of Delta 421 Heavy, an Airbus A330-900! It was pretty awesome to see two Delta heavies arrive at LAS today – first a Boeing 767-300ER, then this A330neo in the evening. We haven’t seen many Delta heavy jets at all lately….
“Wednesday afternoon arrival of Speedbird 271 Heavy, a British Airways Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner! I decided to do some plane chasing today and drove the fully deployed Spottermobile to the spot, pulling in as Speedbird was already short final. Ran up the ladder, hit record, and here’s the result! Captured those Trent 1000s singing too! British…
“Windy Saturday afternoon arrival of Korean Air 005 Heavy, a Boeing 777-300ER in SkyTeam livery! When I last captured this one back in October 2025, I wondered if they planned to update the SkyTeam livery to match the new Korean branding. Looks like they’re keeping it as-is for now – and it’s definitely looking a…

Definitely going for an overhead shot next time, or maybe even a shot on the 19s if they land there! Condor flight DE2062 arrived from Frankfurt (FRA) and landed…
“Cloudy and windy Sunday evening arrival of Condor 2062 Heavy, an Airbus A330neo! This was Condor’s first LAS arrival of the 2026 season, and they sent the Green Island livery aircraft. Looking forward to catching all the colors this season. Some good news too: the next two flights are scheduled to arrive earlier in the…
