Roger Daltrey at 82 STILL ROCKS Las Vegas! 🎸 | The Who Legend Live

“We got to see Roger Daltrey of The Who LIVE in Las Vegas — and at 82 years old, this man is still an absolute performer. And this wasn’t just a greatest-hits concert. There were some genuinely crazy, only-at-a-live-show moments. At one point, security was trying to move people away from the front of the stage. Roger noticed what was happening, walked over and basically chased security away himself. 😂 Later, he actually stopped and put it to a vote with the audience: Did anybody mind people standing up near the stage? The crowd made its feelings pretty clear. Roger told security to listen to the audience and leave them alone — then joked that apparently “that’s been cancelled for the next two nights.” Security did NOT look amused. 😂 At 82 years old, Roger Daltrey is still running his own damn rock show. And somehow it was even more perfect considering one of the songs that night was “Won’t Get Fooled Again.” The attitude matched the music. He also stopped “Who Are You” because the guitar was too loud in his monitor and he couldn’t hear properly, then started the song again once the sound was fixed. That was another one of my favorite moments because it showed what a perfectionist he still is. After all these decades, he still cares about getting the show RIGHT.
