“A carjacking over the weekend that began in a Walmart parking lot ended with a deadly crash on Charleston Boulevard, as Las Vegas police highlighted a broader push to curb motor vehicle theft across the valley. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said 37 year-old Benito Saragosa was sleeping in a running black Hyundai Sonata while waiting for a friend who had gone inside the store. Police said a suspect, now identified as 55 year-old Harold Allen, got into the vehicle and drove off with the sleeping passenger still inside.
