Metallica’s James Hetfield comments made at the Las Vegas Sphere | probably aimed at Macklemore 🤷

“Metallica’s James Hetfield has sparked debate online following comments made during a performance at the Sphere in Las Vegas, where he told fans that Metallica weren’t there to push agendas or influence audiences with their personal beliefs, but to bring people together through music. The remarks have since gone viral, with some fans speculating that he was taking a swipe at Macklemore, who has been outspoken about Palestine during his performances. However, Hetfield never mentioned Macklemore by name, and there is no confirmation that his comments were directed at him. The debate has also drawn attention to Metallica’s own history of addressing war, injustice and social issues through their music.”
