Metallica Opening Night at the Sphere Las Vegas (Oct 1, 2026) #Metallica #MetallicaSphere #Sphere

“October 1, 2026. Metallica walk out at the Sphere in Las Vegas for night one of their Life Burns Faster residency, and the room does what rooms do for this band. Flags from all over the world wrapped around those giant walls, Morricone’s “The Ecstasy of Gold” rolling in like it has for forty years, and then the first riff hits. Battery opened the night, which hadn’t happened since 2014. After that, Creeping Death, Now That We’re Dead for the first time since 2021, and …And Justice for All back in the set after twelve years. “The Call of Ktulu” was dedicated to Cliff Burton, which, yeah. Master of Puppets closed it out. This Short stitches together a handful of fan and official TikTok clips from the night. The sound, the screens, the crowd. Not the same as being there, obviously, but it gets close. The residency runs 24 shows through March 2027, with no repeat weekends, so Thursday and Saturday setlists won’t overlap.
