I headed out to the Las Vegas Wash and Lake Mead to see what the post-storm rainfall areas actually look like. In this boots-on-the-ground exploration, we’ll compare BEFORE & AFTER footage of the wash channels and water flows following the historic rainfall that moved through Southern Nevada. The southwest flooding from Post Tropical Storm Rachel was dramatic — but did Lake Mead’s water level rise as much as you might expect? 🌊 In this video: • Massive flooding in Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Wash • BEFORE & AFTER Footage of Water Flows • Did the record rainfall actually help Lake Mead? Let me know what you think below!” “It was wild seeing 1.3 billion gallons of water surge into Lake Mead, but with daily evaporation losing over 700 million gallons, did this storm actually make a dent or just put on a show? 🌊 What surprised you more: the sheer power of the Las Vegas Wash or how fast that water disappears in the desert? Let me know below!””
