“Las Vegas resorts are looking for ways to keep visitors coming as recent tourism indicators show a slowdown and higher travel costs threaten summer plans. While new tourism data is expected later this week, the previous data from last month showed a drop in hotel occupancy for April. Ronn Nicolli, chief experience and marketing officer for The Meruelo Group, which runs the Sahara, said the city needs a unified push to bring travelers back. “Vegas has a responsibility, collectively,” Nicolli said.
