“We finally planned a slower day in Las Vegas. A little pool time, good food, one last hotel move, and maybe a little gambling. Vegas laughed at that plan. Vegas Day 4 was supposed to be our “easy” day… because apparently every Vegas trip needs one. Spoiler alert: Vegas had other ideas. The morning starts with our daily budget meeting, coffee, and an honest recap of what we really thought after spending the night at the brand-new Vanderpump Hotel. Instead of chasing slot machines all day, we slow things down with a relaxing morning, a quick casino stop, and a pool day at Soleia Pool. We rented a day bed, sampled the poolside food (strictly for research purposes), and did our best to convince ourselves we were on a relaxing vacation. Then it was time for one last hotel move. Everything was going smoothly… until it wasn’t. A surprise at check-in sent us right back to the front desk, but the team at The Reserve at Park MGM turned what could’ve been a frustrating experience into one of the best customer service moments of the trip. From there, we spent the evening exploring New York-New York, made one last stop at the Vanderpump Hotel after someone forgot to cash out a slot ticket (we’re still not naming names), enjoyed Caesars Rewards Diamond Plus drinks at Gigolo and kicked off a brand-new series ranking the best Vegas bars for snacks.
