Gusty winds blow through Las Vegas to start Friday

“We’ll start Friday with gusty winds at the start of the day with winds slowly backing down this afternoon and evening. We’ll see mainly sunny skies in Las Vegas with areas of blowing dust in the morning. Cooler temperatures are forecast today after the cold front passed overnight. Valley highs will reach around 70 degrees (10 degrees lower than yesterday, plus the normal high in Las Vegas is 79 degrees this time of the year). Some valley highs will only reach the upper 60s, especially neighborhoods on the edges of town. Winds will be out of the north, 15-25 mph with gusts around 35.
