EVOLUTION OF LAS VEGAS | 3D CITY TIMELAPSE (1855–2026)

“Las Vegas, 1855–2026. From an adobe fort beside a desert spring to the brightest skyline on Earth: 171 years rebuilt in 3D, year by year. It starts with a Mormon mission, a cattle ranch and a railroad tent town. Then come the 1905 land auction, legal gambling and Hoover Dam, El Rancho Vegas and the Flamingo, the neon 1950s, Caesars Palace and the jet-age airport. The megaresorts follow: the Mirage, Luxor, Bellagio and the Venetian rise as the Dunes, the Sands, the Stardust and the Tropicana come down. The video ends with Sphere, the A’s ballpark and the Strip at night in 2026. ⏱️ CHAPTERS 0:00 Las Vegas today → rewind to 1855 0:09 The Mormon Fort and the Las Vegas Ranch (1855–1902) 0:25 The railroad and the 1905 land auction 0:54 A railroad town becomes a city (1909–1931) 1:10 Legal gambling and Hoover Dam (1931) 1:27 El Rancho Vegas and the Flamingo (1941–1946) 2:04 The atomic age and the 1950s Strip 2:42 El Rancho burns, the jet age arrives (1960–1963) 3:03 New towers and Caesars Palace (1965–1966) 3:27 The valley spreads (1966–1985) 3:50 The Mirage and the megaresort era (1989–1993) 4:13 Implosions and the Stratosphere (1993–1996) 5:02 New York-New York, Bellagio, Paris (1997–1999) 5:39 Wynn, the Stardust falls, CityCenter (2005–2009) 6:22 Terminal 3 and the High Roller (2012–2014) 6:46 Allegiant Stadium, Circa, Resorts World (2020–2021) 7:21 Sphere and Fontainebleau (2023) 7:44 The Mirage closes, the Tropicana falls (2024) 8:04 The ballpark, the guitar tower and the Strip at night (2025–2026) 📌 ABOUT THIS RECONSTRUCTION This is an illustrative 3D reconstruction, not archival footage. Building footprints, streets, the railroad and landmark locations follow open map data, county records and published histories. Construction dates for ordinary buildings come from Clark County assessor records or are estimated for the animation, and demolished buildings are reconstructed from historical sources. Landmark models are simplified. #lasvegas #timelapse #3d #evolution #city #history #animation #lasvegashistory”
