Clark County approves proposal for 29 story heart shaped hotel on Las Vegas Strip

“Las Vegas’ skyline could soon add another instantly recognizable landmark: a 29-story, heart-shaped hotel proposed for the south end of the Strip. The Clark County Zoning Commission has approved a proposal from Kulik River Capital for the resort, which would add 752 rooms if it is built. As of May, Las Vegas had an inventory of 150,234 hotel rooms. The project leans into the city’s tradition of bold, themed architecture — joining a landscape that already includes a pyramid, a sphere, an Eiffel Tower, a castle, an 1,100-foot tower and a giant blue Gibson Les Paul guitar built where a volcano once stood.
