Bystanders tackle suspect after deadly shooting at Las Vegas grocery store

“Two people were killed in a shooting in south Las Vegas Tuesday morning, according to police, and a suspect is in custody after he was wrestled to the ground by bystanders. The shooting was reported around 11:24 a.m. inside the Smith’s Food & Drug in the 9700 block of S. Maryland Parkway, near Silverado Ranch Boulevard, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police (LVMPD) said in an email. Two victims were found with apparent gunshot wounds. LVMPD said they were both pronounced dead at the scene.
