“Primm, Nevada is shutting down forever on July 4, 2026. In this full closing tour, we drive from Seven Magic Mountains through Jean and into Primm to look at what is left of one of the strangest roadside casino towns in Nevada. Whiskey Pete’s, Primm Valley, Buffalo Bill’s, the dead mall, the monorails, the lotto store, employee housing and Desperado all tell the story of a place that was once built around the dream of Roadside Vegas. This was once the first taste of Nevada for millions of drivers heading to Las Vegas.
