“Doug Kalitta ensured the Top Fuel championship race didn’t end in Las Vegas, taking down Kalitta Motorsports teammate Shawn Langdon in the final round and then winning the race for the fifth time this year with a stellar run of 3.658 at 338.60 in his 12,000-horsepower Mac Tools dragster to power past Pruett’s 5.751 at 124.89.
