Las Vegas A’s new ballpark Athletic Club sells out ahead of 2028 move
“The soon-to-be Las Vegas Athletics have hit an early benchmark in their push toward a new ballpark on the south end of the Strip: one of the stadium’s top premium amenities is already sold out. The team’s front office says the Athletic Club, an exclusive hospitality club planned behind home plate, has sold out well ahead of the team’s planned arrival in the spring of 2028. UNLV assistant professor Bill Robinson, a sports economics expert, said the early demand is a positive signal for attendance. “Well, they they want everybody in town to see that this is going to work. It’s going to be good, right?” Robinson said. Robinson said selling out the Athletic Club this far in advance is an “early inning home run,” particularly because A’s President Marc Badain said 76% of the purchases were made by Southern Nevada residents and 70% were bought by individuals rather than businesses.
