Caesars faces negligence suit after sexual assault of 21 year old at Flamingo Las Vegas

“Caesars Entertainment is facing another negligence lawsuit after the alleged rape of a 21-year-old woman at the Flamingo in March 2024, with the complaint claiming the resort’s security should have stopped the perpetrator before he was able to isolate and assault her. The lawsuit centers on a woman identified as Jane Doe, who was celebrating her birthday in Las Vegas when she was assaulted by a man her attorneys say was supposed to be banned from all Caesars properties. Kimball Jones, an attorney at Bighorn Law representing Jane Doe, said the incident was devastating for his client. “She’s a super super powerful young woman, and she’s not given up on life, but she’s dealt with significant psychological and emotional turmoil,” Jones said. The perpetrator, Dutch Yonko, pleaded guilty to sexual coercion and received a sentence of 24 to 60 months, according to the court documents. Jones said the outcome did not match what he believed the evidence showed.
