Neighbors frustrated over cluttered Las Vegas property as homeowner says she needs help

“A West Las Vegas neighborhood is growing increasingly frustrated over a driveway piled with trash and assorted items, while the homeowner at the center of the complaints says she is overwhelmed and needs help to get the property cleaned up. The City of Las Vegas said the attorney’s office is handling an ongoing legal process tied to the property as complaints about the West Valley home continue to come in to both Metro and city officials. Neighbors said they are tired of seeing a driveway filled with items ranging from bikes to appliances and trash. Neighbors who did not want to go on camera described the property as an eyesore and said the situation has recently gotten worse. Andrea Schneider, who lives in the home with her mother, said her family has owned the house for 20 years. But she said things changed after her father died three years ago.
