1 dead, 1 critical after stabbings in Downtown Las Vegas

“One person is dead and another is in critical condition after they were stabbed during a confrontation in Downtown Las Vegas early Thursday morning, according to police. At 1 a.m., someone called 911 reporting a man had been stabbed in the 800 block of South 3rd Street, near 3rd Street and Coolidge Avenue, said Lt. Robert Price with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police. Officers found one man suffering from a stab wound on the sidewalk. While there, they were notified of another person stabbed just down the street, Price said.
