“A Utah woman says what was supposed to be a fun weekend getaway to Las Vegas turned into a frustrating experience after she claims she was misled by a hotel listing that used doctored, AI-generated photos. Ariana Patiño and her sister were planning a shared birthday trip to Las Vegas. After a seven-hour drive, the sisters arrived expecting to check into Palette Las Vegas, a hotel they had booked through third-party website Booking.com. Patiño says they specifically wanted to avoid OYO, which they had seen had previously received poor ratings and reviews.
