I had occasion to drive from Green Bay to St Paul a few weeks ago.

In the past it was a major hassle to get to Minnesota from the west of Wisconsin. Now it’s much easier. Simply take highway 29 then interstate 94. It’s a long ride but an easy drive. It takes about 4 1/4 hours to drive the 270 miles.

Interstate 94 in downtown can be slightly confusing, but just watch the signs and you’ll be fine.

My trip to Thailand was great. The warm weather was a pleasant change from Wisconsin’s cooler climate. In reading guide books before I went to Thasiland, I was prearing myself for some VERY hot and humid conditios. I wasn’t sure if I could stand the climate.

I was pleasantly surprised!

The weather was NOT unbearable. Sure, it was warm. That’s one of the main reasons I’ve always wanted to visit. That, and the beaches. However, for me, the weather was not as hot as I had anticipated.

I just got back from a visit to Thailand a few days ago. However, I’m still on Bangkok time. It seems I’m trying to wake up at 2:30 am and I want to take a midafternoon nap.

The trip was truely great. I’ve always wanted to go to Thailand and I finally got the opportnity to do it. We stayed in Bangkok for 3 nights at the Sofitel Central Plaza then 2 nights at the Amari Orchid Resort Pattaya and then back to Bangkok for 1 night at the  Marriott Bangkok Resort And Spa and the last night at the Amari Watergate Hotel And Spa.
